Abilities
- Leap - Like Savage Wolves, Barbarous Wolves can leap at targets. Similarly, they can also leap several times to cause high damage and knockdown.
- Gibarta - Barbarous Wolves can use Gibarta to defend themselves at close-range.
- Howl - Barbarous Wolves can howl, which immediately casts Shifta and Deband on the wolf.
Strategies
The strategies for fighting Savage Wolves work against Barbarous Wolves. Block or evade the leap attacks as they do a lot of damage, use disruptive attacks to prevent the wolf from attacking often, and use Jellen/Zalure to override their Shifta/Deband if possible. With its high EVP lowered, a Barbarous Wolf becomes easier to deal with. Among normal enemies, the two variants of PSO Wolf are some of the most dangerous.
