Abilities
- Melee Attack - Boomas use their claws to slash at close-range.
- Fake Death - Boomas will sometimes fall on their backs, faking death. During this time, they are not targetable.
- Surprise Attack - After faking death for a few seconds, Boomas leap to their feet and slash with their arms.
Strategies
Boomas can be dealt with by most conventional means. Watch out for them faking death- a good way to know if a Booma is dead or faking it is to watch for the yellow 'EXP +XXX' text that displays when you kill a monster (EXPFULL if Lv200). If it doesn't display, the Booma is likely faking dead. Be ready for the slash when it gets up, and attack back.
