Abilities
- Melee Attack - Using their claws, Gainozeros can lash out at players. Melee attacks from Gainozeros are capable of hitting several players at once.
- Zonde - Gainozeros frequently use Zonde to engage targets from range.
- Razonde - In addition to Zonde, Gainozeros can use Razonde. This is used if a Gainozeros rears up onto its hind legs.
- Running Slash - A Gainozeros charge involves the monster slashing from side to side. This can hit multiple times and knocks down.
- Shield - Gainozeros are able to use a shield to negate damage. This can be shattered through attacks, or will wear off after a period of time.
Strategies
Be careful of the lightning attacks, particularly Razonde. Attack from the side or rear as a melee class; Gainozeros melee attacks do high damage and should be avoided if possible. Razonde can be dodged, but it is difficult to predict when to roll. Ranged classes should try and use knockback attacks; Gainozeros can be knocked over repeatedly. When the shield is raised, use the opportunity to cast support TECHNICS and heal if need be.
