Password items
From The PSPedia2
Password items are special weapons, room decorations, modules and any other items which can be obtained by inputting a special eight digit code at the visiphone in your room. Each password can be entered only once per save data, so you will not be able to enter the same password with more than one of your characters. In the case of weapons received through this method, the weapon's element and attribute rate are both random (unless specified otherwise), and the rate can range from 0-50%. If you are unhappy with the outcome of a password weapon, you can reload your save data and try again. Of course, be certain to save your game before entering the password to avoid losing any previous progress.
